Finished product and Easter
Good Evening Friends! Happy Easter!! Here is the picture of the beautiful german chocolate cake I mentioned in my last post. The other picture is me. I thought you might like to see who I am 🙂 I had 5dz Cadbury Cream Egg Cupcakes to deliver today for 3 wonderful clients. All the sweets turned out BEAUTIFUL. Each person who received them was sooo grateful for yummy treats! What could be better than cream egg cupcakes? Um, nothing! Today was the start to a beautiful weekend. I hope you all enjoy your time with your families tomorrow! I will be SO happy to get my little boy back where he belongs…with me 🙂 have a great Easter guys.
German Chocolate and Cadbury Eggs…
Good morning my sweets! Today is going to be full of yummy treats! First on the list? German chocolate cake for a sweet, sweet girl! She’s grown up too fast on me! I started watching her 13 years ago when she was 5. Crazy! I made her sweet 16 cake, and now I find myself feeling SO old while I make her 18th birthday cake! crazy! I could not be more blessed to have been a part of her life. Such sweet memories!
Now on to Easter. I have a freezer full of Cadbury cream eggs! This weekend we are making a PILE of Cadbury Cream Egg cupcakes! These are so much fun to make. It is not too late to order some. 214-632-5508.
Snickerdoodles anyone?
Good evening friends! Today we spent the day making a snickerdoodle cake. It is a brown sugar and cinnamon cake that is frosted with a cinnamon buttercream. Snickerdoodles are probably my favorite cookies on the planet, so why not make a cake that tastes like it 🙂 I hope you guys enjoy the pictures, and please let me know when I can make one for you and your amazing family. Welcome Spring…and Wedding Season
Hi friends! We are getting geared up for wedding season. Summer is one of our busiest times, but it is also the most fun. We have two weddings on the books already. One in June and one in July. Making wedding cakes is such a fun part of our job. I love getting to meet new people, hearing their stories, and creating something special for their special day. Each couple is unique, and creative, and so much fun. If you guys would like me to start posting tutorials, and pictures of the projects im working, let me know. I really enjoy the teaching process.

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to Vanilla Bean Bake Shop! We can’t wait to meet you, and bake for you. Let me introduce myself. My partner Carrie will introduce herself on the next entry! My name is Lara Talley. I have been baking for as long as I can remember. I specialize in custom cupcakes, and cakes. I can make you almost any flavor you could think of. I have a precious little boy, G, who is 4. He is constantly asking to help, and taste what I am making. He loves to help decorate, or brainstorm on ideas for kid’s cupcakes.
I jump at the chance to be creative, both with decorations, and flavors. Decorating, collaborating, and brainstorming with clients I think is my favorite part of my job. It gives me a chance to make a difference in someone’s life, and to make them happy.
